GreenMascot Project Launches Survey on Good Practices in Sport and Environmental Sustainability

The GreenMascot project, co-funded by the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme, has launched an international survey aimed at identifying good practices that use sport as a tool for environmental education and pollution reduction across the Black Sea region.

The survey targets sports organisations, schools, NGOs, municipalities, sports clubs and community groups that have already implemented or piloted initiatives combining sport with environmental actions, such as waste management, sustainable mobility, eco-friendly sports events or awareness-raising activities.

Completing the survey takes approximately 10–15 minutes and is available online at:

All submitted practices will be analysed by the project partnership, and 32 selected initiatives will be invited to participate in in-depth interviews and an international workshop in Constanța, Romania.

Through this activity, the GreenMascot project aims to promote sustainability in sport and strengthen cross-border cooperation in the Black Sea Basin.
